The success of the diet is in large part of reading the book and understanding exactly how the diet helps you lose weight. There is a lot of valuable information in this book that you won’t get any place else.
New for 2014 is the 17 Day Diet Breakthrough Edition. This newly published book by Dr. Moreno contains updates to the 17 Day Diet. I highly recommended purchasing this book for important breakthroughs in the diet.

Multivitamins are extremely important when starting any type of diet. You want to make sure you are receiving the nutrients your body need in order to be healthy. There are a variety of multivitamins out there in the marketplace that contain different vitamins depending on your age, activity level, etc. Here are a few of my favorites:
The 17 Day Diet centers around Green Tea (and water) as the drink of choice. Green Tea has many health benefits in addition to promoting weight loss. If you don’t care too much for the flavor of tea, you may want to check out a green tea supplement instead.
The 17 Day Diet recommends using only Olive Oil or Flax seed oil. I use some Olive Oil in my diet, but I personally prefer using MCT Oil. There are many great weight loss benefits of MCT oil.
The 17 Day Diet recommends Stevia as the sweetener of choice.
The 17 Day Diet recommends two daily servings of probiotics to promote a healthy digestive system. Probiotics can be from a variety of sources such as yogurt, kefir, low-fat acidophilus milk or supplements. You can even make your own yogurt with your choice of natural ingredients by using a yogurt maker machine!
