Chicken and Broccoli Dish Ingredients

Like most of my low carb recipes, this chicken and broccoli recipe is simple to make.  It only includes a few key ingredients, which include:

  • dried parsley
  • dried dill weed
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • lemon juice
  • sour cream
  • chicken
  • broccoli florets
  • shredded Cheese

Chicken and Broccoli meals are a great way to provide a lot of protein and fiber for a filling low carb meal

Ranch Chicken & Broccoli Bake

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Additional Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes

Savory and fresh, this low Carb Ranch Chicken & Broccoli Bake is a must-have weeknight dinner for your family.

Ingredients

For the Ranch Dressing:

  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1/2 Tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Splash of lemon juice
  • 3/4 Cup Sour Cream (or more depending on how much dressing you want)

Other Ingredients for Casserole:

  • 2 Large Chicken Breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 12oz package broccoli florets (about 4 cups), cooked al dente
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese (or a mixture of both)

Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
    2. Spray a 7X11 or 9X9 oven safe dish with non-stick spray.
    3. In a large bowl, add all Ranch Dressing ingredients and whisk until well blended.
    4. Next, add cooked chicken and broccoli to the large bowl and lightly toss to fully coat the chicken and broccoli with the Ranch Dressing.
    5. Add half of the cheese to the mixture and mix well.
    6. Transfer the chicken mixture to the dish and top with remaining cheese.
    7. Bake uncovered for 15 minutes until nice and hot! If you want your cheese crispy brown, turn on the broiler for a few minutes until you reach your desired color.
