2-Day Detox Rules:
Let’s keep it simple so you maximize the benefits of eating cleanly for the next few days.
Here are the basic rules of this detox:
- No Sugar
- No Carbs
- No Fruit After 2pm
- Drink Plenty of Water
- Take your Multivitamin
2-Day Detox Meal Plan:
In this special menu, you’ll take advantage of a specially crafted meal plan that incorporates hot lemon water first thing in the morning to help get your digestive juices flowing.
Breakfast includes a low-sugar smoothie. You may add greens to this recipe to give you more vitamins to help replenish your body. (You can create your own custom smoothie).
Lunch includes a super clean green salad with lean protein, detoxifying vegetables and a soothing and healthy apple cider vinaigrette to top it off.
Your snack, if hungry, includes a simple cucumber salad (a natural diuretic to flush out unneeded water weight).
Lastly, your first day ends with a simple protein and asparagus dinner along with another green and colorful salad filled with nutrient-rich vegetables.
Repeat this menu for day two and you’ll feel back to your normal self in no time!
Follow this Menu for 2 Days:
Wake Up Drink:
- Hot Lemon Water (juice of 1/2 lemon)
Breakfast:
- Greek Yogurt Smoothie with berries (you can create your own custom smoothie recipe)
- Green Tea or Black Coffee
Lunch:
- Green Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast, tomatoes, cucumber and mushrooms
- Apple Cider Vinaigrette
Snack:
- 1 Whole Cucumber, sliced
- Drizzle with Apple Cider Vinaigrette
Dinner:
- Grilled Chicken Breast
- Steam Asparagus Spears
- Green Salad with tomatoes, cucumber, carrots and mushrooms with Apple Cider Vinaigrette
Drink Water:
Get plenty of water – at least 8 8oz glasses (if not more!!)
