Ingredients for Lemon-Garlic Chicken & Green Beans Stir-Fry

This recipe is simple and uses only a few fresh, key ingredients:

  • skinless chicken breasts
  • fresh green beans
  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • lemon (zest and juice)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • low-sodium chicken broth (or water)

How to Make Lemon-Garlic Chicken & Green Beans Stir-Fry

It’s so easy to get a healthy, restaurant-quality dinner on the table fast!

  1. Heat ½ Tbsp olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken strips and cook for 4-5 minutes until no longer pink. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the remaining ½ Tbsp olive oil and green beans. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green but still crisp.
  4. Push green beans to the side of the pan. Add minced garlic to the center and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return chicken to the pan. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together.
  6. Add chicken broth and continue cooking for 1-2 more minutes until the liquid reduces slightly.

This low carb Lemon-Garlic Chicken & Green Beans Stir-Fry is perfect for the entire family.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips or bite-size pieces
  • 3 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil (divided)
  • 1 lemon, zested (1 teaspoon) and juiced (2 Tablespoons)
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons low-sodium chicken broth (or water)
  • Chili Pepper Flakes (optional for heat)
  • Diced Green Onions (optional for garnish)

Instructions

    1. Heat 1⁄2 Tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
