Tofu and Broccoli Stir Fry

Tofu and Broccoli Stir Fry - if you're tired of eating chicken all the time, tofu is the perfect protein alternative!

If you’re tired of eating meat all the time on the 17 Day Diet, tofu is a great source of  protein. I eat tofu on occasion, and when I do, this is usually the way I enjoy it!

Tofu and Broccoli Stir Fry

Ingredients:

1 package extra firm tofu
3-4 small heads of broccoli, cut and steamed
2 Tablespoons of Bragg Liquid Aminos
Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder to taste
Red Chili Flakes to taste
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

 

Directions:

Heat olive oil in large skillet. Cut tofu into rectangular shapes (1/2 inch thick by 1 1/2 inch long).  Lay tofu onto paper towel to drain excess water. Season tofu with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Fry tofu in pan until golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Add steamed broccoli to tofu in pan, add red chili flakes and liquid aminos.  Serve hot.

Yields 3 Servings
