Instead of soy sauce, use coconut aminos to make this recipe 100% compliant for the Kickstart Diet. I personally like Braggs Liquid Aminos as a healthier alternative to soy sauce.

  1. I’m considering joining the Spring Cycle 1 but would like to know how many fruits and fats do you recommend per day, what do you use to replace sugar?

    • Hi Paula! Sorry for the late response to your comment. The 17 Day Diet allows for 2 servings of low sugar fruit per day to be eaten before 2pm. Healthy fats during cycle 1 are 1 to 2 tablespoons daily of either olive or flax oil. Lastly, the 17 Day Diet allows for Stevia or Monk Fruit (brands Truvia and Nectresse are specifically mentioned on the Cycle 1 food list).
